Omagh
1 - 2 July 2022
Omagh was the very first stop on the StoryTrails tour. We loved opening our doors to a range of townsfolk, MP's and the Mayor, and showing them the untold stories of their beautiful town.
Dundee
7 - 8 July 2022
Next, we headed to Scotland with Dundee being stop number two on the tour. We learnt about Olympians, pie shops and Oor Wullie! Haste Ye Back!
Dumfries
12 - 13 July 2022
Dumfries now, and what a stop! We crowned plenty of Queens, dived into incredible VR and loved sharing the hidden stories of your town with you.
Blackpool
16 - 17 July 2022
Onto the iconic town of Blackpool, where we met Queens of a different kind. Our AR trail explored the rich history of the LGBTQ+ community and the immersive map showed us just how pretty this seaside town is!
Bradford
22 - 23 July 2022
Bradford was stop number five, and what a city! We trailed around the city centre learning about the godfather of film, unearthed the hidden stories in the immersive cinema and made 3D scans of plenty of visitors!
Sheffield
27 - 28 July 2022
The mighty city of Sheffield next, and we were treated to not one, but TWO AR trails! We learnt about Ethel Hayhtornthwaite, one of the UK's first environmental pioneers in 'The Green Queen of Sheffield', and master cutler Grace Horn in 'Crafty Grace'!
Lincoln
30 - 31 July 2022
Lincoln was next up! We discovered the amazing stories of the town through the 3D map, helped a cheeky Imp find his way home, then made some Imp's of our own!
Wolverhampton
6 - 7 August 2022
Onto Wolverhampton, where fashion was the talk of the town. We learnt about the sales industry and how it's grown over the last few decades. Wolverhampton, you've got a deal!
Swansea
10 - 11 August 2022
Next we crossed the border into Wales, where we first stopped in picturesque Swansea. The famous Joe's ice cream was the talk of the town, and our trail. We slurped our way through history with immersive tech, with a flake on top!
Newport
13 - 14 August 2022
Newport was next! We met the Freckletons and followed their incredible journey to putting music at the beating heart of Newport, what a sweet tune!
Bristol
20 - 21 August 2022
Crossing the bridge back to England, we stopped at Bristol to learn the amazing story of the iconic Sweet Mart. We commissioned a beautiful mural painted in their honour by some fantastic local artists!
Swindon
27 - 28 August 2022
Swindon was up next! We learnt about the Hoopers, the photography giants who were making memes and photoshopping images well over 100 years ago! Say cheese!
Slough
3 - 4 September 2022
3.. 2.. 1.. Blast Off! We rocketed into Slough next, to learn how the town played a crucial role in getting us to space! We had an astronomical time in VR and with our incredible immersive cinema.
Lambeth
10 - 11 September 2022
Home stretch now, and we opened our doors to the people of Lambeth to show them the secrets of their area. Our AR trail focused on the incredible Winifred Atwell, the first black artist to have a number 1 single in the UK, and the immersive cinema saw hidden stories from all over the borough!
Lewisham
18 - 19 September 2022
Our final leg was the wonderful Lewisham, specifically Catford, where we had a purrrrrfect AR trail, complete with VR, Big Me Little Me and our immersive cinema. What a way to end the tour!
